Molly Yergens is a painter and an educator. She was born in Fargo, North Dakota. An early interest in architecture, drawing and photography led her to the Rhode Island School of Design where she received her BFA in painting in 2004. Molly returned to the Midwest and completed her Art Education credentials at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 2006. Molly has worked as a visual arts instructor at a prestigious college preparatory school in Faribault, Minnesota for the past eight years. She maintains a vibrant studio practice perched on the fourth floor of a boys dormitory on the schools campus. Molly investigates place and the nature of spatial experience through painting. She has traveled extensively in Asia and Europe and often incorporates painting and drawing into her adventures. Molly completed her MFA through Lesley University College of Art and Design in January of 2013.
